Governor Dr Joyce Laboso and County Director of Education Mabale Indiatsi go through the education task force report 2018 on Friday

“We have awarded bursaries to several students to address school fees problems. My administration supports vocational training and we are committed to improving education standards in the county.”
Governor Dr Joyce Laboso has released the education task force report 2018 on improvement of secondary education and vocational and technical training in the county to various education stakeholders. The Governor appreciated the effort by the taskforce committee members and directed all stakeholders within education to implement the recommendations for the betterment of education in the county. The stakeholders comprised of Vocational Training Centre, Technical Training Institutes, secondary schools’ heads and schools board of management.
Dr Laboso said during the ceremony, the Governor presented term one school fees cheques to various schools. Also present were the task force chairperson Dr Kipngetich Kirui, Deputy Governor Dr Hillary Barchok, County Secretary Evalyn Rono, CECM Education and Vocation Training Juliana Yegon among other distinguished guests
