The Bomet County County Executive and Office of The Governor Staff attended an induction retreat last week in N aivasha.
While opening the induction workshop, the Governor Hon Dr Joyce Laboso told the CEC members to take their roles seriously and emphasized that she expects them to translate her election manifesto into action plans that will bring to reality the vision she has for Bomet County. The course was facilitate by the Kenya School of Government Baringo Campus led by the director of the campus Dr Solomon Letangule who gave a lecture on The Art of Public Speaking.
Other topics that were covered include Public Finance Management, Procurement in Government, Leadership and Governance, Performance Management, Communication and Media, Human Resource Management, Team Building and Etiquette.
On the last day of the induction retreat, a plenary session that included members of the county assembly was held. The session was attended by Bomet Senator Dr Andrew Langat, the Speaker of the Assembly David Shadrack Rotich and the Clerk Mr Isaac Kitur.
